This original oil painting depicts a snow-covered mountain range beneath a dramatic, storm-filled sky. Dark blue-grey clouds stretch across the landscape, while warm light breaks through around the peaks, illuminating the mountains and creating a striking contrast between shadow and light.

The wide landscape is deliberately simple, with the low mountain range set against an expansive sky and open foreground. The changing light gives the scene a strong sense of atmosphere and movement, capturing a fleeting moment as the weather begins to shift.

This piece has been painted on an 100 x 70 cm (39.4 x 27.6 in) stretched canvas and set into a black wooden floating frame. The artwork has been varnished for protection and is wired and ready to hang.
